Short Description of Instrument |
Purpose: 97-item checklist that measures symptoms of 20 behavioral disorders. Parent report for ages 6 to 12 years.
Description: A behavior rating scale that screens for 13 frequently occurring childhood emotional and behavioral disorders as based on the criteria specified in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV (DSM-IV). Intended for use with both male and female children ages 5-12 from in school graded kindergarten to 6th grade.
Comment: The newest version is the CSI-4, which includes a 97-item form for parents and a 77-item form for teachers, both rated on a 4-point scale.
Primary Dependent Measures: Symptom count scores, symptom severity scores
